Programme Content: |
MPC North believes that as well as being informative and beneficial to a young person’s future progression, learning should be fun.
We aim to help young people reach their goals through hands on work which is not only interesting but is also exciting and these two together will motivate a young person to want to learn.
The programme will be challenging and rewarding and you will leave with skills and knowledge which will help you to progress onto the next stage of your training. |

Key Learning Outcomes : |
The key learning outcome is that a young person will be prepared for the transition onto a vocational programme of their choice and this will be achieved by guidance in the following areas:
- Time keeping and attendance
- Working as part of a team
- Being self aware
- Health and safety awareness
- First aid awareness
- Employability skills
- Tasters to ensure correct vocational choice
- Money management skills
The above, once completed, will enable the young person to develop an In House Certificate which will be presented in an Achievement file. |
